Supervision for Summer Programs Students Under 18

Updated on December 3rd, 2024

Summer Programs students who stay on-campus during their program are supervised by Resident Assistants and other professional staff. We maintain a 15:1 student-to-staff ratio in our residence halls to ensure each student receives appropriate supervision and support.
Staff enforce a strict 10:30 PM curfew for Summer Programs students ages 15-17, and those who turn 18 during their program who are assigned to any residence halls where minors are present. Please note that repeat curfew violations will result in early dismissal from the program without any refunds.

Our residence halls are also staffed by Public Safety officers who ensure that only registered students have access.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for drinking, smoking, or drug use on-campus, regardless of the Summer Program student's age. Summer Programs students will be immediately dismissed and parents or guardians will be notified if these policies are not respected.
