Curfew Policy

Updated on February 23rd, 2023

For Minors (ages 15, 16, or 17)

The curfew time for minors staying in campus residence halls is 10:30 PM every night. Participants will need to be behind the threshold of their residence hall room door in order to not be marked as late, and will be asked to present their Berklee-issued IDs to the staff conducting curfew check when the staff arrive at their door. Please note that the staff may not arrive right at 10:30 PM due to the amount of time that it takes to conduct curfew checks, but it is still the responsibility of Summer Programs students to remain inside their rooms.

Please note that curfew violations will result in disciplinary action, including program dismissal if repeat violations occur. If a minor turns 18 during the course of the program, their curfew will still be 10:30 PM because they will be housed in the same residence hall spaces as minors.

For Non-Minors

Summer Programs students 18 years of age and older who are living in the residence halls designated for non-minors are exempt from curfew.

Non-Residents

Summer Programs students living off campus are not allowed in the residence halls, so the curfew policy does not apply to them. Summer Programs students cannot bring guests into the residence halls.
