Arriving Late to Your Program

Updated on January 13th, 2023

Each program has a dedicated check-in window, typically during the morning of the first day of programming. If you are unable to arrive within your program's allotted check-in window, Summer Programs staff will be available to assist you in the lobby of 160 Massachusetts Avenue until 5:00 PM EDT (unless otherwise noted below).

The policies for late arrival vary depending on program. Please read the late arrival details for each program type below:

Programs Beginning Monday or Tuesday

If unforeseen delays during travel prevent you from arriving before 5:00 PM EDT on the first day of programming, you must:

  • Send an email to the Summer Programs Advising team at summer@berklee.edu to let them know:
    • your name
    • an email address and phone number where you can be reached while traveling
    • the program you are registered for
    • your new arrival time
    • a request for a check-in appointment the following day during business hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EDT). An advisor will follow up with you to offer you available check-in appointment times.
  • If you are staying on-campus, report to the Housing Department on Berklee's main campus, located at 150 Massachusetts Avenue, to receive your housing assignment. Moving into your room is not the same as checking in for your program. You still must schedule a check-in appointment with a Summer Programs advisor during business hours to formally check-in and participate in your program.
